What is a sacred birth worker doula and what is my role?
My training as a sacred birth worker with Sacred Birth International is a lot more in depth than an average doula course. To me, being a doula is about way more than understanding the physiology of childbirth. Number one is holding a safe space for the mother and her partner.
I am here to make you feel empowered, safe and supported emotionally, in your conception journey, pregnancy, childbirth and beyond. With years of experience with working with and holding space for women, and being a mother of two myself, I am full of wisdom and knowledge. Most importantly, I am a very calm, grounded, intuitive and warm support person. Someone that you can feel safe having by your side in this transformative, powerful, and sometimes a bit scary and overwhelming experience.
The support looks differently depending on your unique needs and wishes. Together we discover and unravel how I can best be there for you and your partner in the process of conception, pregnancy and childbirth.
As your childbirth doula, I will be here for you to strengthen your intuition and support you to come into contact with your own inner voice, to discover what your dream birth scenario looks like, and then prepare for that.
Even if childbirth is about surrendering, letting go and letting the unknown unfold, preparation is key. I will be by your side in your preparation for your birth, during labour and through the postpartum phase. Another very important factor for a positive birthing experience is support. Support from your birthing team. A team which I would feel honoured to be part of. There is something called "the doula effect". Studies show that families who hire a doula have a more positive birthing experience, which in turn strengthens the bond to the baby and makes postpartum a more joyful experience. Mothers who give birth with a doula by their side are also less likely to experience complications in childbirth. And they are more likely to have a natural birthing process without medical intervention, because the physiology have a better chance of being protected.

After graduating with a 3 year bachelors degree in Australia in 2015, within health, rehabilitation and exercise, I have acquired a wealth of experience within my field and established a unique method. Always having continued to add to my skillset with new training and knowledge, alongside. I have wholeheartedly and with passion worked with anything from your average sedentary person, to world elite level athletes in CrossFit, ice hockey, basketball and Muay thai. Combined with years and years as a high level athlete myself, I have a deep understanding of the physical body and its function. I will help you no matter if you have specific problems or injuries you need to be worked on, or if you just want a relaxing moment to yourself. The session and the pressure is adapted to suit your needs and preferences, and I promise to leave you feeling magical afterwards.

Readings & tarot
Intuitive readings and tarot are very powerful tools to assist you in life, to help you towards clarity, self-awareness and healing. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love tarot and doing these readings for you. Some people find it a little scary and think that I might tell them some bad omens or something they don't want to hear. But it simply doesn't work that way, at least that is not how I work with it. I only set good intentions and you will only ever get guidance and information that your soul is ready for, to help you towards more clarity and direction in your journey.
